Cogerent builds software products and agentic systems where engineers lead, AI agents do the routine work, and everything turns together across your business.
From a first viable product to a company that runs on agents, with a person signing off on what matters.
Every service below runs on one model. Senior engineers own architecture, decisions and releases. AI agents take the repetitive work and keep going after hours. You get the speed of a bigger team and the control of a small one.
MVP Builder
A Minimum Viable Product: the first version people actually want to keep using. We cut scope to the features that matter and build them on production-grade code for a fixed price. Agents handle scaffolding and tests, so the budget goes into what users touch.
24/7 AI-Augmented Team
A dedicated product team that keeps moving after 6 pm. Engineers set the tasks and review every change. Overnight, agents write tests, prepare pull requests and run checks, so each morning starts with finished work waiting for review.
Legacy Modernization
Replace the old system without stopping the business. Agents read the legacy code and map what it really does, including rules nobody wrote down. They add the tests it never had, and engineers move it to a modern stack piece by piece.
Agentic AI Systems
Agents that do real work inside your processes: triaging requests, reconciling payments, preparing reports, answering customers. Each one has a role, tools and limits, and they pass work to each other like gears in one mechanism. Built on Cogerentor.
AI-Powered Cybersecurity Protection
Security that keeps up with AI-written code. Agents scan every change for leaked secrets, vulnerable dependencies and risky configs, and watch your systems day and night. We also protect the agents themselves from prompt injection, data leaks and excess permissions.
Approach
One agent is a gadget A business needs a mechanism
Cog means gear. Every AI agent we build is one: a narrow job, done well. Alone it moves little. Meshed with the others across sales, operations, finance and support, it turns the whole business. Cogerent means it all turns as one.
One cog, one job
Each agent has a narrow role, clear inputs and outputs, and a number it answers for. Narrow agents are easier to test, trust and replace.
Clean handoffs
Agents pass work to each other through defined contracts and share one source of context, so no step has to guess what the last one meant.
People at the levers
Anything that touches money, contracts or reputation goes to a person. Agents prepare, people decide.
Every turn on record
Each action is logged with what the agent saw and why it acted. Any decision can be traced to its data.
Products
We run on our own engine
Our agentic systems run on Cogerentor, the framework we build for autonomous organizations. Decogerentor makes sure nothing slips.
Each step ends with something you can check: a map, a plan, a demo, a live system.
01
Map
We walk through your product or process end to end and find where time and money leak and which steps an agent can own.
02
Design
We split the work between agents and people, set each agent's role, limits and handoffs, and agree on the numbers that define success.
03
Build
Engineers and agents build in short cycles. Every week you see a working demo.
04
Run
We launch, watch every agent's output and tune the mechanism as the business changes. Or we hand everything over to your team, docs and configs included.
Let's talk
What should your agents take over first?
Send us a product idea, a legacy system or a process that eats your team's week. We reply within one business day with a first take on where agents fit and what it would take.

This policy explains what personal information Cogerent Software collects when you visit this website or get in touch with us, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do.
This website, cogerent.software, is run by Cogerent Software, a company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In this policy "Cogerent", "we" and "us" mean Cogerent Software, and "you" means anyone who visits the site or writes to us.
We are responsible for the personal information described here. The policy covers this website and the messages you exchange with us. It does not cover Cogerentor and Decogerentor, which are separate websites with their own rules. Personal information we handle while building something for a client is governed by our agreement with that client.
What we collect
We collect very little, and it comes from three places.
What you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your email address and whatever you decide to write, such as your name, company, phone number, details about your project and any files you attach. Please leave out sensitive details like health records or bank account numbers. We don't need them to answer a first enquiry.
Technical data from your visit. Like any website, our server and our web host receive your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the pages you ask for, the time of each request and the page that sent you here. We need this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Your cookie choice. When you answer the cookie banner, your browser saves that choice so we don't ask again. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
This site has no user accounts. The contact form doesn't save anything on the site itself. It passes your message to our inbox as an email.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage does the same job. We sort them into four groups.
Strictly necessary. They keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. We save that choice in your browser's local storage under the name cogerent-consent and ask again after a year. These are always on.
Analytics. They count visits and show which pages people read, so we can improve the site.
Functional. They power extras such as a booking calendar, chat or embedded video.
Marketing. They help measure our campaigns and show relevant ads on other sites.
The last three groups are off by default. Nothing in them runs until you allow it.
You can change your choice at any time in the or with the cookie button at the bottom left of the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may stop working.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
reply to your messages and talk about a possible project
prepare proposals, contracts and invoices if we work together
run the site, keep it secure and fix problems
see how the site is used, but only through analytics you have allowed
meet our legal, tax and accounting duties
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it to make automated decisions about you.
Our grounds. In Canada we rely on your consent. When you write to us, you agree that we may use what you send to answer you, and you can withdraw that consent whenever you like. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent for cookies that aren't strictly necessary, on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the site secure, on steps you ask for before a contract, and on legal obligations.
Emails from us. We answer people who write to us, and we don't add anyone to a mailing list unless they ask. If we send commercial messages, we do it with consent as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires, and every one will have an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only when the business needs it, and only with:
Service providers that host this website, run our email and support the tools we use to manage enquiries and projects. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers.
Authorities, when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights.
A buyer or successor, if Cogerent is ever sold or merged. We would require the new owner to protect the information as this policy does.
Contact form. The form sends your message to a small script on our own server, which turns it into an email and sends it to our inbox. The script doesn't keep a copy of what you write or attach. To stop people who send the form over and over, it keeps a scrambled form of your IP address, not the address itself, for ten minutes.
Cloudflare Turnstile. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It loads only when you open the form. Your browser then contacts Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and basic browser details and runs a short check. When you send the form, our script asks Cloudflare to confirm the result and passes along your IP address. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Google Fonts. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser asks Google's servers for the font files, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. We don't control what Google does with them. See Google's privacy policy for details.
If you follow a link from this site to another one, the owner of that site is responsible for what it does with your information.
Where it is kept
Our service providers may store and process information in Canada, the United States and other countries. Once information is in another country, that country's laws apply to it, and its courts and authorities may be able to get access to it. We pick providers with clear security and confidentiality terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and emails. For as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. If we don't end up working together, we delete them within two years of our last contact.
Client records. For the length of the work plus the time that tax and accounting rules require. In Canada that is generally six years.
Server logs. For a short period set by our web host, then they are removed.
Cookie choice. Up to a year in your browser, then we ask again.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We protect personal information in ways that fit how sensitive it is. This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to what you send us is limited to the people who need it, and the providers we use have security controls of their own. No system is completely safe, so we can't promise absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and report it to the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
tell you whether we hold personal information about you and give you a copy
correct anything that is wrong or out of date
delete your information when we have no legal or business reason to keep it
stop using your information, or withdraw a consent you gave us
Write to hello@cogerent.software. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we aim to answer within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also object to certain uses of your information and ask for a portable copy of it. If you live in California, you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising.
If you think we have handled your information badly and we haven't put it right, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. People in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom can also complain to their local data protection authority.
Children
This site is written for businesses and isn't meant for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way we work or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will put a notice on this site.
